You ahven't been drinking any of those...energy things they've been giving out for free, have you? We've had a lot of cases recently- people reporting headaches, hallucinations.

I do, and very well. She's worked with immigrant case files back in Romdeau, so...she's very good at her position here.

It was apparently a promotion, but I think they've done themselves more hurt than harm, once word gets around about the bad side effects.

Yes, not only of the same world, but of seemingly successive connection- that is, most who have arrived here and found someone of their world have found someone of close significance...kin, close friends, rounded working acquaintances. Such that there is a growing suspicion that the Pull is in face quite deliberately selective.

Think nothing of it. I'd rather you be in and out, safe and sound well before Siren with some help, before spending a whole night at the hospital- it can be miserable place to be stuck till dawn.

No, in fact....many people who don't have a place to stay come to Skye's Clinic just before Siren, complaining of some minor symptom, so that they have a place to spend the night.

It's a sad truth, but...who are we to turn anyone away, to the darkness?
