Did you--did you make all of that coffee yourself, and then drink it? Did--you didn't buy it, did you? You made it yourself?

Yes, I made it. I've finally got the funds to make my own rather than shelling out for gas station bilge six times a day.

Ah! Is it commoner's instant coffee? It comes in the jar, and you spoon it into a coffee mug, and then you add hot water to it--is that the proper steps? Ah, but is that the kind that you have?

Why would I stop buying gas station dishwater so I could make it myself?

I roast and grind my own blends. Real coffee.

But that kind is good, too! Of course, it's better if someone makes it for you--but then, both kinds are better that way! Especially if it's made with a great deal of care and attention! Ah, so: congratulations on your coffee upgrade!

Thanks. I prefer my own handiwork generally. That way you can control every little bit of the flavor for a wide variety of blends.

Ah! But you don't have a daughter, do you? I would of course be inclined to agree with you--after all, there is such enjoyment to be found in so pleasant a task--but far more pleasurable than that is the handiwork of a daughter!

No, I don't have a daughter.

No, I didn't think that you did! Because if you did have a daughter, then you would know that even commoner's coffee made from mud would taste just as good as the finest blend--no, no, it would taste better! Such a small thing, but such an integral component--a delicious integral component! It changes everything--ah, so perhaps that's one of the reasons why I love commoner's instant coffee so very much!
