I got a message back today from Hawthorne University confirming my grant for a course in Applied Law, and giving me notice about moving in on campus, so I'd like to thank everyone who helped me to make the decision, particularly Professor Aizen, who went out of his way to ensure I was seen quickly. Thankfully I'll be moving out of this mouse infested room, so that'll be one less thing I have to worry about.
Talking of things to worry about, it seems a lot of people have been going missing lately. I don't know if it's an unpleasant trend, or maybe something positive. There's been a lot of new arrivals, so maybe it's balancing it out, or something. I know it's not much of a relief, but it's possible those people have gone home, right? It feels a little selfish to want them to still be here, imprisoned alongside us, just the same way I wouldn't wish any of this on my family.
I realise that everyone's asking philosophical questions tonight but this one really...it's been bothering me. Do you think it's possible to resist your own fate? In all the films I saw about time travel, no matter what you did to try and change the future or the past, things always ended up happening the same way, but it can't really be like that, can it?
