001 Turnabout in Trouble [accidental video]
[The video comes to life, angled slightly into the dirt with a swathe of blue in the background. Odd--it isn't a particularly blue day. The blue moves, revealing that it's little more than wet fabric, and a voice - clearly not intended to be conversational but audible none the less - speaks out, recognisable to some.]
Nngh... I feel like I've been hit by a bus.
[The following silence is punctuated by movement, Phoenix shifting around, and then in the corner of the screen he begins to wring water out of his jacket. His hands are almost white, visibly shaking -- the weather may be warm, but Phoenix just fell into a river in the middle of winter, and he's near hypothermic with cold.]
S-so cold. Where is this place, anyway? Maya... Maya, you'd better be alright, your sister would never... Oh.
[He's still talking to himself, obviously, but now he reaches for the phone, picking it up and lifting it to his face. He doesn't realise it's recording him, but then it did fall into the river with him.]
Hey...this thing's still working? Maybe I can phone for help.
[Beep. Oops, he hit the off button.]
