I wouldn't normally ask for help unless I really needed it, but there's a serious mouse problem in this place and I have no idea what to do about it. I tried some books, but nothing seems to work: the cheap mousetraps do nothing, the bigger ones are too expensive, and poison just seems inhumane. I'd try a cat if there wasn't a 'No pets' rule, but maybe that'd just be a different problem.
I didn't think anything could keep me awake at night, but there's nothing worse than the sound of dozens of tiny teeth gnawing away. Sometimes I feel like they've given up with the wall and started gnawing at my skull instead.
One other thing... I don't suppose anyone around here knows about university scholarships for newcomers? Is it too late in the year to sign up for a course?
