He hits several keys, then clearly 'Enter', and leans back to look up into the camera. There are flashes of lightning illuminating the dark apartment in the background behind him.]

More importantly, I'd like to ask whether anyone knows anything more about those two murders. What is it that ties them together so firmly that the police believe it's one case, or is it simply that they're afraid to make people think that there's more than one murderer out there on top of the others they haven't caught? Let me see... [Sitting back again, his voice is clearer.] Both victims were male, fathers, and their children had been killed; neither were robbed, suggesting another motive. Giving their theory the benefit of the doubt, it's possible that it's vigilanteism, but if that's the case then Mr. Cook shouldn't have been a target. Perhaps one was killed to make it look serial, and hide the intended victim, though if that's true then they really ought to have been killed the same way.
No, it's unlikely. A blade and a gun, identification and not. Two different murders, which should be treated as different cases unless a link is proven. That's the way it would have been done at home.
