Day 158; [video]
[Roxas looks a little wilted, but he's busy at work in the Shouldn't Have Been kitchen, several large piles of ice cream ingredients stacked on the table. The ice cream maker is visible off to the side. There's a tiny smear of chocolate across his cheek.]
This heat's getting really crazy. I've spent time in a desert city before, and I thought that was worse, but at least they had a lot of shade that people could hide in, and it wasn't so sticky. The longer this goes, the more I think it might last forever.
Oh well...at least we don't have sand everywhere. That'd be pretty bad.
[He pours some chocolate chips into a bowl and then measures out a portion of strawberry syrup.]
I have today off, so I decided to spend the afternoon making a bunch of ice cream and fill up the freezer with it. Having a bowl helps cool down, at least until you're done eating. Too bad we can't just keep eating until the temperature goes down, but I don't think it'd be a good idea to try. How's everyone else dealing with it? We've got a fan and we froze the couch, but it's still too hot.
[A black cat jumps up to the top of the counter and noses at the ingredients.] Xact, get down. [After a moment, Roxas sighs and picks up the cat, leaning over to deposit him on the ground as he yowls unhappily.] The cats are really pushy today. They've been like that since the other day. Hey Axel, got any idea what that's all about? They were really interested in you last night.
[There's a smirk before he reaches toward the NV camera and clicks off the public feed]

Even we can't eat all this ice cream. If any of you guys want some, just come over this afternoon and you can pick whatever you want. I'm going to keep making it until we don't have anymore space. It's better than doing nothing.
