People truly do seem to struggle with heat like this. Personally, I'm used to it. I spent a lot of time in the desert, so this isn't really as awkward for me as it seems to be with others. But for people who aren't used to it, I suppose it can be overwhelming.

[He clears his throat, slipping into the "Miller Voice" quite easily.]

All of that. Doesn't work. It's still really, really hot. And I've traveled through a desert, too!

... What'r you gonna do during it?

I spent over four years in Iraq. The heat isn't really so difficult to bear.

...I don't know. Apparently Father is dragging me somewhere.

[elderyouth]

I walked around the desert for a whole week and it wasn't this bad!

Because he won't tell me where we're going and because he's currently my CO, I don't really have the right to disobey him.

[elderyouth]

It'll be a surprise, I bet. [ahh, good cheer voice faltering.]

Most likely. [Paranoid people do not like surprises. 8|]

How bad is it?

...I hope so.

You didn't sound very happy there. Is it bad?

[elderyouth]

Really bad. [something like a muffled whine that... doesn't sound entirely human.] But it's... gonna pass, right?

voice.

[ysobritish]

Of course it will. Just be patient a little longer. [That whine was a little worrying.]

It seems like it's happy to sit at where it's at, though.

Besides, don't you normally not wear a shirt?

It will still pass. Everything does in the end.

Why are you telling others to wear a shirt if you don't?

voice.

[ysobritish]

Because the heat doesn't bother me. It bothers them and wearing shirts will actually help them stay cool.
