[If you checked the news feed, you would have heard him say the same thing. But while he never proclaimed to be a good family man, the idea of two children dead because of an elder stupidity makes him sick.]
Living in this city should have prepared them for this weather. To have lived here and know what past seasons have been like, they should have known and taken the necessary precautions.
Instead they let two children die of stupidity.
Those parents should never had the opportunity to have children. An advocate of humanity I may be, but the one problem with humanity being fertile is that there is no screening process for people who will endanger the lives of children.
They should be stripped of any rights they have for letting this happen to their own flesh and blood. Any suitable screening process would have decided that they were never suited to care for the life of another.
[Takes a calming breath, though his voice is as usual; the barest hints of anger throughout his words, but to those who know him, they will know how angry he really is.]
Thought of the day: Say what they will about newcomers and the stigma of us throughout the city. But we have taken care of every child who has arrived in this city to the best of our ability and none have died.
