It seems like this heat is never-ending. Yet there is something fun about being smothered by such flames. [Soft laugh.] Though, it does breed a madness that I have been seeing. One that hurts me to see, but I suppose that it cannot be helped. Still, my heart goes out to them all the same.

But at least I was able to acquire something for myself to feel better. Quite a compromise had to be struck in order to own them, but they make me feel more like how I was. It's a shame my other boots did not survive the riots. Blood is surprisingly difficult to get out of the material it was made out of.
Oh, well. I suppose that means one is able to completely transform themselves into something truly beautiful when everything of their past lives is officially destroyed and discarded.
