[There’s a long moment between showing up in the baseball diamond and Tom pulling out his phone. He realizes that the settings are completely different from how they usually are, and hoping for, well, anything really, he begins to speak. There is, however, a long moment between picking up the phone and saying anything. Perhaps the quiet sound of someone trying to control their breathing, but little else. Finally, he speaks, the voice masculine but hushed; as if he’s afraid someone might overhear.]
