[Private to Aizen]
Aizen-san, would you like me to cook for you sometime? Work has been eating up a lot of my time lately, but I guess I could drop by within the week for dinner... [She offers a smile, as usual. A little breath of fresh air although clearly, she seems a little fatigued from working this night shift.]

I'd like that very much.

When would you prefer it though? [She laughs lightly, kind of really happy to hear someone who wasn't a) from the hospital, b) a stranger, c) a pervert like that creepy dude with the spoon costume]

Tomorrow evening, perhaps? A young lady is lodging with me at the moment as she was recently evicted, but we should be able to have the house to ourselves on a week-night.

Ah-- I see... [She gives a warm smile] That's really kind of you to do so for her. I wouldn't mind cooking for her, too, if she would be around when I come over.

Come to think of it... what kind of food do you like, Aizen-san?

That's kind of you, Alice. We'll leave something for her in the fridge.

Anything you make would be delightful.

Alright. Well... I was thinking of a simple salad with a sweet vinaigrette. And then steak with a lemon-herb marinade. I eat rather light, so maybe I can throw in some mashed potatoes for you and your house guest?

That sounds perfect, I love steak. Are you sure you won't be too tired, what with work?

That's great! Well... honestly, I really do miss cooking. I wanted to do something a little special while I'm not working. I cook for my roommate and I when I can, but... I felt like doing it for others, too. There's only so much you can do as a nurse.

But I don't think I'll ever get tired of making others happy.

Does this mean we're officially friends?

[ He laughs lightly, teasing her. ]

At the very least, it means I'm lucky to know you.

Of course we are!

[She gives him a cross look, as if she didn't like the sound of him thinking they weren't friends yet]

I'd be upset if we weren't!

Do you like chocolate cake, Alice?

O-of course I do! [Excuse Alice-- you caught her in pouty mode, so she's all flustered now trying to change her tone.]
