I know that the anti article is upsetting and unfair. But, honestly, it's not surprising. If strange things are happening here, then it would be easy to blame newcomers for them. Many people can be quick to condemn what they don't understand.
Of course, that doesn't make this right, but we shouldn't get too worked up over it either. Our actions can only be the determing factor in whether or not the residents will believe that article and some will believe it no matter what we do.
But we shouldn't lose heart. If we continue to work together, I'm sure we'll find a solution to this mess.
