I'd forgotten how frenetic the atmosphere is inside of a casino. It's dizzying, to keep track of so many people. I suppose I didn't ever spend much time on the game floor either, when I was in management. The offices tend to be a much quieter place, even if the more interesting occurrences take place within their confines. Still, I'm settling in, I believe. Though it's a tricky balance to strike, to ensure that the players feel like they're winning and making enough off of them to satisfy the House. A game within a game, I suppose.

I know we've had no trouble coming up with the rent for our small apartment. But it seems a bit wasteful, when Brooke is more than willing to give us free reign of the apartments above his shop. What do you think, everyone?
