It's funny. Hearing you talk like this now, you really are that same guy who made the weird network posts.
How are you going to stop the slavery? Not with letters...

I'm not sure yet. The thing is that the slavery is a fundamental part of the system here. It drives the economy, in a lot of ways, so it's not feasible or likely easy to just eradicate it in a single blow. Letters won't be enough either. What's needed is a strong union of voices. Not a handful of newcomers but a vast number of people rising up against slavery. It shouldn't be hard - so many here are effected by it - but the fact remains that a lot of those people will be intimidated by those who have gained money enough from it to pour that money back into squashing resistance.
I don't propose fighting fair. We give as good as we got, and we make it so our voice has to be heard. Politics, really; that's all it is. We need to make a stand, and to do that we need a powerful voice, and support behind it.

Sometimes, when I talk about being fed up with AGI, all I hear is 'Quiet, or you'll lose your job and never get another one.'
They don't play fair, with what they did to Sam.

My own family was attacked, when I was a police officer at home, and I lost my father. My sister was influenced considerably by her ordeal. It's so easy to effect people when you have their family.
And though I'm not suggesting threatening the families of those who have this power, the fact remains that it is a risk attached. For us newcomers, however, we have already lost everything. Very few of us have a family here. It's a strong base to build from.
