My 'grand vision' is very much the same as yours, Edgeworth. The end of the corruption and injustice that possess this city, and a disbalancing of the foothold of mere companies in things that do not concern them.

I didn't say I wouldn't try otherwise first. Once again, you jump to the worst possible scenario. All I'm saying is I won't let them use their powers to rampage all over me, while doing nothing to defend myself--something you do very well, as I recall: letting other people hurt you for the sake of your beliefs.

I am saying, Edgeworth, that the way you responded to Kadaj and Yazoo was deliberately baiting, as though you wanted to get yourself killed. You took so long to convince that you weren't just imagining the powers of other people--I'm still not entirely certain that you consider them enough of a threat yo your well being.

How was I supposed to respond to them? Would you have had me cower?

There are other ways. Maybe ways that you would see as being on the wrong side of the law, when there are police to handle it, but ways that would have guaranteed your safety. Rather than having people come to pick up the pieces of you, you could have had them at your side to begin with.

Honestly--no. You're only as brittle as your resolve, and you have that in spades, but they almost killed you this time and this won't be the last time, as selfdestructive as you are.
