I did not thank those who assisted in research in those past weeks. Apologies; I shall do so now, and ask if those same individuals - and, indeed, others - would be willing to assist a bit more.
I intend to challenge the slave trade here. The basis of this challenge will be legal, as per my expertise - and as per the most effective means available to us.
The first step in this, therefore, shall be forcing the challenge to the courts. Considerably fewer individuals are sent into slavery through the courts than are sent there via detention by AGI; more common by far are prison sentences and the like. Ergo, by forcing these cases to the courts, we'll limit the number of individuals sent into slavery, have a basis for challenging the constitutionality of the punishment - and, perhaps most importantly, we will make the slave trade more public, so that the average law-abiding citizen of Siren's Port will see what goes on.
Therefore, I need any who have to this point had conflicts with AGI to step forth and contact me - in private, naturally. Likewise, I need anyone who feels confident in the possibility of serving as a legal researcher after a bit of training. This will be a long-term project.
[A slight pause.]
We'll get nowhere in asserting our rights if we continue to commit criminal acts, and if we continue to accept criminality in our midst. I should hope that all are aware of this.
