The letters registering slowly on the NV are what an experienced calligrapher would regard as the written equivalent of stuttering.

[A simple text]

Yes! We can read this. But it looks like people have already told you that.

Are you someplace safe at the moment?

I don't know.

It doesn't matter.

Well... I think it matters. Hello though, my name is Kunogi Himawari. Who might you be?

Why would it matter to you? You don't know me.

I don't know a lot of people, but I think it's best if people are safe.

Yamazaki-san, nice to meet you. You've learned where you are by now, yes?

Not here, they aren't. I will agree with you on that.

Oh good. Have they also told you of the shelter? The apartment complex? It's warm in here at least.

I'm not sleeping anywhere I'll be expected to.

Cold doesn't bother me. I'll live.

I don't think anyone is 'expecting' anything of you. I think it's just a nice alternative is all. An option or choice that is open if you find you need it? At least you know it's there though, so that's something.

You must be really strong then, yes? A lot of people don't handle the cold well.

You don't get it, do you?

It's easiest to kill someone while they sleep - I don't want anyone knowing where or when I let my guard down.

I don't like the cold, but I'll tolerate it.

There's no other choice.

I see. Well... at least know that the night isn't safe here. Not like anywhere normal. So try to find somewhere no one will find you, not even the dark, yes?
