I have found this dog. Does it belong to anyone?

[Here, Castiel holds up a small brown puppy by the scruff of its neck in front of the camera. Said puppy simply dangles in his hold and does not seem very comfortable being handled as such. But doesn't really do anything to get away either ( Read more... )

It's certainly a cute little guy, but he does not belong to me. I don't own a dog because they look at me and see one grand chew toy. Yohohoho!

[Now wait here just a minute. That is the most unnatural 'person' Castiel has ever come across. Granted, he is familiar with things that can fall under 'tales of the crypt' but this is just ... perhaps over the top. He must investigate this ... this phenomenon. Perhaps it is a costume?]

They do like gnaw and chew at a nice bone. And you are ... quite the set of bones there.

[Suspicious look is suspicious.]

Indeed! Why just the other day I barely made it in my apartment before a horde of them were howling at the doorstep.

[Suspicious look is suspicious and confused.]

... then how did you ward them off? Have you ever adopted an animal before, even?

[Skeletal face is... well skeletal. It's hard to read facial expressions when there isn't a face.]

Well you see as a musician I know what kind of tunes can attract or repel certain animals, and once I was able to get to my violin, they were in for it. One of my songs is happens to be one of the loveliest pieces to the human ear because it can only pick up a certain frequency, but to the sharp ears of a dog, it's agony. Oh and in case you weren't clear, I'm Brooke, and I'm a bard, pleased to meet you.

As for the question of have I ever adopted an animal before, yes I have, and I loved him like a son.

Hello Brooke. I am Castiel.

What comes to mind is the pied-piper; I suppose that is quite an achievement for a musician, to be able to control animals. What animal have you adopted before?

[A head tilt; he's getting good with conversations.]

A bit like that yes, although animals are much more susceptible to such things than human beings are. Although interestingly I've found that many of the songs used to repel some creatures, can attract others. I can tell you that when I found my song for scaring away seagulls, little did I know it attracted sea monsters known as Sea Kings. Yohohoho!

As for an animal I've adopted, a whale before by the name of Laboon.
