I've noticed more new voices than usual over the network recently, a high frequency of arrivals. I do wonder if the pull's activity correlates to the same force that generated the earthquake- if this is a sign of further trouble, or a side effect. Still no official word or scientific report, only street speculations. But there must be someone monitoring these patterns, although I somehow doubt the powers that fund such a project would make them available for public release.
The content of the coffeehouse meeting on Thursday was of disappointingly minimal civic relevance, if any of you who did not attend had meant to.
In any case, fellow newcomers, please allow me to get introductions out of the way. I'm Doctor Yumeno, for those of who I haven't spoken to yet. I work as a general practitioner at Skye Medical Center- if I can be of any assistance to you, don't hesitate to stop in. The clinic is open all hours, and I typically take hours after siren, but you can consider me on-call for any arrivals who need immediate attention. I usually try and keep a close eye on the network, but if I'm busy and anything slips through the cracks, feel free to get in contact with me.
(...That goes for any patients who have signed themselves out and have done a very good job of avoiding their follow-ups, too.)
Finally, there is a girl who has come into my care who is in need of some very special developmental care and attention. She has been denied a long-term transfer to Skye's pediatrics ward because of her status as a newcomer and minimal city funding, and I'm presently exploring other alternatives. While I'm waiving hospitals costs for her personally for as long as possible, I am seeking a reliable surrogate custodian for Nana. If you are interested and capable, I would like to arrange a meeting so we can discuss what to do.
