Not exactly. My training was a bit less rigorous. I worked with a special force police team.

Well. Paramilitary. But I didn't go to boot camp, or anything.

Civilians organized to act as a military force, without strictly being enlisted. Each of us was picked for our own unique skills and abilities. Mine being an extensive knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical training.
