Skye Medical Clinic Overfilled

This is a short blurb on the Skye Medical Clinic being overwhelmed with citizens who were wounded in the earthquake or who were seeking safety in the Darkness. The head doctor, Skye Pyke, after telling reporters to please get out of his face since he's busy with medical treatments, took the time only to state that every bed in the hospital is filled, every room chock full of patients being treated for injuries ranging from life threatening to minor. After stating that the Clinic will continue to take as many people as possible and offer safe haven to as many as possible, Dr. Pyke continued attending to triage. Patients in the ER have stated that most injuries as of now are Darkness-related rather than being directly caused by the earthquake.

Grant Stadium Offers Safe Haven From Darkness

This article reports that Grant Stadium will be cancelling all sports events for the next week and will be transforming the large space inside the stadium into a campground to offer a safe haven to citizens who have lost their homes or whose homes have had the Darkness-proofing compromised. A food drive is being organized to help gather food for those who flock to the Stadium at Night. The stands are full, as is the field area, though there is still some room for anyone who may still need assistance.

Grant Stadium has avoided any structural damage due to the ultra-modern building techniques used in its construction, with only superficial or aesthetic damage being reported.

Underground Mall Structure Sound

Emergency investigation of the Underground Mall's structure after yesterday afternoon's earthquake has shown that the mall is still sound. The large cave that the mall is tucked away in is one of the strongest structures in the City. While seven buildings, as well as the ferris wheel, fell inside the mall during the earthquake, the Underground Mall has not had its structure compromised. The governor suggests that any citizens who cannot find safety at a hospital or Grant Stadium make their way to the Underground Mall. Though some minor Darkness-proofing issues have been reported near some entrances, these are being dealt with by security, and most businesses will still be operating despite minor damage.
