[There's quite a bit of fiddling as the video feed comes to life. Half the camera is obscured by Slash's massive hand, and what can be seen looks like a war zone. Smoke curling around, cracks in the earth... it looks like Slash is near the epicenter of the quake.]
...nnngh. I hate earthquakes.
[There's some plodding footsteps, the view still partially obscured as Slash moves around the area. He doesn't seem to be bothered by anything beyond the earthquake itself, his breathing and voice normal for him.]
Hm. Feels warm. Kind of itchy.
...huh?
[The plodding picks up a little, as the scenery passes by faster. Slash is moving into what was probably once a stand of trees on the shore of the lake. Water can be faintly heard over the footsteps.]
's a pink thing.
[The NV falls to the ground, as Slash's massive frame steps past it, towards a fallen tree. With one hand, he strongarms the tree off the ground, grunting only a little, before reaching under it with his other hand. He picks up a limp body, with pale skin and scraps of black clothing. Once he has it, he drops the tree, turning back to the NV and picking it up. The camera faces him.]
Why's it on? Hrm. I found a pink thing. A squishy one. She's alive.
[The camera twists shakily, before settling on a bloodied and burned Jinx, cradled effortlessly in one arm. Her chest moves with breathing, but otherwise there's no reaction from her.]
She should go somewhere.
