The Emperor is not a boring tarot card, but it is not my favorite. I do not, however, know how it came to be present on this device. There seems to be little purpose to it. Its meaning--control, disciple, common sense, inflexibility--have nothing to do with me. If it was placed here purposefully, then it was poorly done. Although how it came to be placed has yet to be determined.
It is clear that there are others having certain difficulties with their NVs--things beyond their control. The fact that this problem has so far only manifested itself here as an image, rather than--
[And cue the sudden sweet strains of "Hooked on a Feeling". The song plays for a few seconds, and then abruptly shuts off. A long pause.]
An image and a sound file, neither of which were present earlier. If anything, this interference is only a distraction. The sound files playing off of the devices of others makes it extremely difficult to work. No names have yet been released in conjunction with the recent murders. This alone is troubling, but it becomes difficult to consider with these distractions. The sound files start quite suddenly, creating a certain startling--
[The song starts again, MUCH LOUDER THAN BEFORE. And everyone has the chance to be deafened by David Hasselhoff, because it takes almost a half a minute to turn it off.]
A solution should be devised as quickly as possible. Are there commonalities to these occurrences? So far, the symptoms seem to be random, the--
[And the song starts a third time EVEN LOUDER THAN BEFORE I HOPE Y'ALL LIKE THE HOFF. After playing through the entirety of the song, it shuts off with the loud clatter of the NV being knocked against the floor.]

I had thought that perhaps he was simply elsewhere, but his consistent lack of response would indicate otherwise. There are, of course, many possibilities. A search should still commence.
There have been recent incidents of murder.
[Another pause, slightly awkward.] In addition, we should attempt to locate more food quite quickly.
