[Pity the poor Greeter who had had the misfortune of being the one to deal with Kadaj. Their attempts at being helpful all but ignored as they patiently weathered an ever more aggressive barrage of questions - or rather, the same question over and over (Where is Mother? Where is she? You're hiding her, aren't you?) - only to find themselves under attack as childish frustration reached its breaking point. Needless to say, they had beat a hasty retreat, leaving a disorientated and rather angry Remnant to wander out into the city on his own.
He doesn't know what to make of what had happened. He had seen Mother, she had reached out to him, told him that everything was fine now... And then he had ended up here. Somehow. Why? What had he done wrong? Where were-
When the audio feed first starts, there's little more than the sound of breathing to be heard, quiet, shaky and uneven. It almost seems as if the person it belongs to is waiting for a response, expecting a familiar greeting. After a moment or two, a voice, taut with emotion, childish and demanding.]
Yazoo? ...Brother? [A length of silence, and then a noise like a snarl, almost animal in nature.] Answer me.
[More silence, muffled fumbling, and the feed is cut off abruptly.]
