This is what he's convinced himself of for everyone.

But as it stands, those two things are just scraping the surface considering what's attached to his bloodstream. He's seen Shinrabanshou nearly twist off arms, and attack souls, and he knows of how many ( countless ) atrocities it's capable of. Really, you could get hurt.

Longer than Yukimi. Less than me.

I came first. I'm used to grandma or Kumohira-sensei paying for things, but neither of them are here. Like everyone else, I was given a month of free rent place an extra two weeks because the landlord of the Tower Apartments is really just a big idiot.

Yoite came after me. I made sure we staid together. At first, getting a job was so I could afford to stay somewhere later. Then, it became 'to take care of Yoite and I.'

That's why I got one. Also, partly - but a lot - because I work in my mother's okonomiyaki store back home. Being able to go cook at Club 24, even if it's Western food, helps me keep attached to things like that.

If you like it, then keep doing it, but you don't have to, okay? Right now, Yoite needs you with him, so take some time off work. Money's not a problem. The things Yukimi can't pay for, I will.

You also need to eat if you're a cook. Trusting a skinny chef is like going to a dentist with bad teeth.

It has a lot of cabbage in it, but you can add any kind of meat or other vegetables and spices to it, if you want. There's batter, too. So, ah, I guess a little bit.

Hearing, 'It tastes just like your mother's Miharu-chan' is good enough for me.
