...I suppose an update is an order. For those interested, I have a job within the city now, under a neutral employer. I'll be working for a city clothing line: Marée Bleus, or Blue Tides. I understand they're fairly popular, though I haven't don't research to attest whether that's truth or simply company propaganda. In any case, I've been hired as one of their fashion designers.

More importantly, after only a few weeks of being here I've come to be appalled by the violence constricting this city. Not only the violence of these recent murders, which are unarguably heinous, but of the violence other "newcomers" have been committing. I can think of two recent violent events which were publicly broadcast. I want to hear your reactions. I want to hear them because I have not heard them. Where is the outrage? Members of... "our community" are being murdered because deranged individuals have adopted this city's existing prejudice against us, a prejudice born out of the fear of newcomers as a perceived threat, and there are those among us actively fueling these flames.
If you believe the police are doing nothing for us now, wait until public opinion begins to applaud these murders. And it will, if we give their unreasonable fears legitimacy.
