Yes. The Darkness, they call it. When the siren's go off after sunset, that's when you have to be indoors. Of course, a lot of buildings are Darkness-proof and there are people who keep watch. [Is herself striving to become one of those people once she settles in and finds a weapon she can practice with.]

It's nice to meet you, too, Haruhi. Don't worry. It may seem a bit overwhelming at first, but you'll get used to it here. During the day, it's not so bad.

Sure! There are plenty of grocery stores around and not far from the Starter Apartments if that's where you're staying. Did that blond guy give you a map? It's definitely useful when trying to find your way around here. The city is quite big.
