[ When Kakashi flickers on screen, his expression is intensely serious and worried, his eye drawn sharp and narrowed, something dark hanging in the grey of his exposed eye. He is quiet for a long moment as he stares at the screen, a light flickering a little behind him in the dark. ]
Light.
[ He begins quietly, his voice calm, but serious. ]
There's been an incident.
[ To some, it may become apparent that Kakashi perhaps doesn't mean for this broadcast to be public, and may not be aware that is. ]
I am in an... auto shop in Sector 4. I was walking by when I smelled blood and decided to investigate. It seems like the murderer has struck again.
[ And now he turns the video, to show a grisly image. A white car sits in the middle of it all, the hood raised and a mechanic bent over the hood. At first, it may seem like he is merely working in the car, but there's something wrong about this image -- the stillness of the body, how it is folded upon the hood. And the unmistakable sight of arterial spray spread across the inside of the hood, a pool of dark liquid collecting under the car. The sound of footsteps begin as the video moves closer, and it captures blood soaking through the fabric of the man's shirt, wounds on his arms and blood splatter. ]
He's been dead probably anywhere between five and six hours and is in full rigor. He has defensive wounds, so it looks like he tried to fight back... The killer...
[ A pause now, as he angles the camera down, and the sight captures the horrific sight of the murderer's work: the head of this body had been forcibly removed, leaving behind twisted and bloody pieces of flesh and bone. There isn't as much blood as one would expect there to be from having a head ripped off a body. ]
...apparently took his head with him as a trophy. From the looks of it, he took it after the victim was already dead.
[ Kakashi turns the camera back onto him now. ]
