[ When the feed turns on, it's probably because Ella had, in her haste, thrown it onto the floor in her house. There's an odd angle, but the -SLAM- of a door and growl of some creature on the other side was unmistakeable. Ella's breathing is ragged as if she'd run for miles. What is visible of her are her legs and the lower half of a white cloak. ]
Haa...ha..haa Iiiiii almost died. Whoo..haha.
[ Okay that sucked. Distantly, Kyra's muffled and angry barks are audible, and Ella suddenly frowned. ]
Wait a second. Why was the door unlocked...? Hattie! Are you awake?
[ No response. Kyra's barking is more urgent when she hears Ella's voice, and just beneath that, ... Ella narrows her eyes, reaching out to turn the lights on. Which...don't turn on. Not...a good sign. As Ella moves to pick up the NV, a figure slips out of the shadows of the darkened house, moving towards her. Ella spots the figure out of the corner of her eye, however, as she lets out a slight yeep, pivoting and using the NV as a weapon. The feed goes black on impact. ]
