This is an offline set BEFORE this post. The origin story of this drunken escapade. 'Cause I can.painhumblesJanuary 5 2012, 19:10:09 UTC
[So here's the Purgatory, looking... Way simpler than it has in the past- still upscale, classy, and looking like a cabaret, but not as flashy and gaudy as normal. Gabriel's paling, but still wandering around, acting cheerful, hiding his inner pain at everything in the world, but what ho, is that Mary Winchester? Bugging Winchesters is his primary protocol. Let us see what happens.]
yes, you can. this is an offline i can believe in. refrigeratormomJanuary 5 2012, 20:21:19 UTC
[Unrelatedly, here's Mary, looking rather less energetic than usual and markedly less serene. She should be out working tonight, being one of those brave Greeter souls who regularly volunteers herself for the danger party that is the baseball diamond at night for the greater glory of making sure nobody else has to be as confused, endangered, and half-naked helpless as she was when she arrived.
Yeah, she called in sick. Probably not the best idea, honestly, since generally keeping busy is what keeps her sane, but tonight she's feeling too lethargic to be any use to anybody.
So here she is, in the bestest bar everest except not even. Vaguely hoping to see Jinx, even more vaguely wondering if she'll see Gabriel, as delicate and sensitive a flower as he is in times of hardship. It's a complicated blend of moth-to-screen-door syndrome and knowing exactly how much she needs to be bitch-slapped out of her own head
( ... )
[Gabriel slides onto the bar stool next to her.] The lady is drinking way too much to protest too much, but great acting. Not Oscar-worthy, but you could probably hack a Golden Globe nod.
[It also doesn't help that none of her big familiar blow-up was locked and he's always paying attention.]

Please, I've given up on ever having one of those.
[Yeah, normal? For a hunter, that's like wanting to be a horse when you grow up.]
