[the cheerful girl is sitting on the counter in the lobby of the Tower apartments, the Greeters office behind her. She smiles and gives a small wave to the video]Greetings everyone. It's been a while. I've been a bit busy and it seems like the Port has been really hectic and busy lately as well. I'm really sorry about all the things going on in the

[There's the sound of papers shuffling, and then a tap of a gloved finger against glass. Someone was working the night shift at the hospital tonight. Probably why he wasn't showing a video feed at the moment. Preparing cadavers for the medical classes wasn't something pretty young girls should witness, now should they?]
I simply love parties.

[True. She's seen enough dead bodies for a life time, she feels. Though at least his work with the bodies is... you know, good for something.]
I assure you it wont be a very classy or even a very wild party. Just a nice gathering, I think. I'm not so good with throwing parties. I just want people to enjoy themselves.

[He hasn't spoken or seen her since the Hidan incident...She'd been quite busy at the Masquerade in October too, entertaining Will, so he hadn't tried to invade their privacy.]
Oh, but the best parties are, I find, modest little gatherings among friends. If you need help with the food or decorations, I could assist if you like.

I'm glad you agree. I hope others do as well. I think I can handle a lot of it. A friend is helping me with the tree, and some other greeters are kind enough to help with other things, but I'll gladly take help, if you are offering, Robert.

[A smile as he bends forwards to inspect his work...Placing his hand gently over the exposed viscera of the neck and chest while inserting the needlepoint into the heart, carefully injecting it with a form of preservative. The prosection of the cadaver for the undergraduate gross anatomy class for the upcoming demonstration was a precise process...And tissues and organs needed to be preserved.]
I would be glad to. Did you have anything in mind for the menu?

[yes, okay, she would find that interesting as well as a little gross. Good thing this is audio only]
Oh, I'm not too positive. I figured simple things that go well for parties. I haven't got too much to spend on it after all. Claire offered to make some cup-cakes and cookies, and we were thinking of decorating ones own gingerbread man, for fun. Perhaps some cheese and deli plates, crackers, rolls, um... small party trays? Punch, eggnog and such. I'm not very sure actually. Perhaps we should do more... [ponderponderponder]

Claire...The girl you were just speaking with, I presume?
I could pick up some things at the market, and prepare some of the harder dishes if you'd like...In France, a typical Christmas dessert to have would be La bûche de Noël, or Yule log. It seems appropriate.

Yes, that is her! She's very nice, a young Newcomer here a well.
Oh! [she had heard of them and seen them but never tasted one. A friend was going to make one once, last year, but he got too busy...] Would you really? That would be really amazing, Robert! It wont be too much trouble?

[Her cheeriness made her all the more endearing, really.]
No trouble at all. It would be my pleasure.
