My friend Rachel is Jewish. Kurt and I are setting up a menorah for her in the apartment and we're going to try to celebrate Hanukkah with her. The thing is, we're not exactly sure when it is in this reality. Back home, it was going to start on the 20th but I don't know when it is here.
I was also wondering if there are any community celebrations for Hanukkah? Or are you guys doing anything over at the House of Awesome? Do you have any tips for what we can do to make Rachel feel welcome?
I don't want her to feel left out this year. It's bad enough she can't celebrate with her dads.
