I didn't know her very well, but she was responsible for finding the Core last year and was severely injured because of it. I wish I could say I was surprised it would be Samus, but...she's been lying low for almost a year now, dodging public attention. Checking into those capsule motels, and always on the move. I should have taken it more seriously, when I hadn't heard from her since closing out the lease.

Hopefully, the data she was keeping was never retrieved... I wouldn't know where to even begin looking.

Well, I don't know how effective they actually were, but... I would prefer something organized to so many people feeling it necessary to run amok out in the darkness, just in case there is anyone else out there needing assistance.

It puts more people in danger than is ultimately necessary.

The difficulty there is that we're just so...spread out. It's a large city. Realistically, it would be easier if we could confine security efforts to one immigrant district-
