Ho? I'm not so sure what needs explaining...that the world has been built so that we take for granted everything those less fortunate slave away to create, or that I have never seen that proven wrong?

Not intentionally, perhaps. But society's founded in a way to promote that. Civilization is built on it, no matter how far humanity comes.

We're shackled, bound and prevented from getting any farther.

[This will be the only time anyone hears complete, utter sincerity from Naoya. And it sounds, mostly, very tired.]
