[A middle aged man is sitting in one of the newcomer apartments, his chin in his hands as he looks at the screen thoughtfully.] I had rather hoped that this was all some hallucination, but as I'm still here I suppose not. [He sighs deeply, before smiling.] Still, it's not my place to question God's will and everyone I've met so far has been nice enough. It's wonderful to be given somewhere to stay while I get my bearings. Proof of human goodness, I would say, but of course it represents the goodness of any other race too. [His smile grows just a little, thinking of the man who greeted him when he arrived.]
I miss my shop, of course, but that sort of thing can always be replaced. I suppose in time I'll miss the Ritz and St. James' Park and... and Crowley too, if he's not here, but I'll get over them too. [Although the idea of getting over Crowley makes a sad look momentarily pass his features.] I suspect I'll rather miss London as a whole after some time. I've lived there for so long. But a change of scenery never did anyone any harm! All this technology is going to be a little... difficult, though. Isn't it amazing how things move on in just ten years? Although I understand that things might be a little more ahead here than in the future of my Earth... it's all a little confusing, to be frank, but as long as there are still books things can't be too ary.
