Tomorrow is All Hallow's Eve, as I'm certain everyone is more than well aware, and while most will be 'Trick or Treating', many are unaware of the origins of the tradition. Souling is what the current day practice evolved from, and as such, those who would be interested in trying a Soul Cake are welcome to visit Funtom. No prayers are needed, as is usually the case, to receive your Soul Cake; just a welcoming stomach is more than enough.
No matter how tempting Trick or Treating may be, I believe I'll forgo the experience this year.

Also, a second matter I'd like to address.
Alois Trancy's birthday is this upcoming Saturday, November 5th. I know he's managed to garner quite a fair amount of friends and acquaintances over the past year and as such, it's only fitting he's able to celebrate his sixteenth birthday with those who care for him. A party will be held at the manor, come Saturday. Those who wish to attend are to let me know as soon as possible.
