[The video is being recorded from what appears to be the floor of a small room, looking up at a girl who looks entirely too energetic for this hour of the very early morning. She’s sitting cross legged and bright-eyed on the edge of her bed, leaning down over her NV, some sort of prop-in-progress sitting in her lap.]
The masquerade ball at the Lux is being held tonight and I've still not finished my costume. [She tweaks the material in her lap between her fingers.] I thought about just wearing a nice dress and making a mask to match, but because the occasion is Halloween, I decided that I ought to do something special for it. But… there’s been some difficulties with the enchantments. I’m not going to give up yet, though! I do still have most of the day left ahead of me.
So, who else is going? And what are you wearing? I’ve heard that people sometimes wear a frightening costume, but some of the creatures I’ve seen that fall into that category for this holiday aren’t very scary at all. I guess that they could be, if you weren’t used to them, but really, I find them more exciting. I wonder why people are often so scared of things that they don’t know much about. Do you know?
[There’s a creak as Luna pushes herself off the bed, leaving the prop she’s been working on against the pillow. It looks rather like a pair of wings.]
If you’re awake right now, I do look forward to talking with you if that’s what you want. I’m going to be working on this [a gesture towards the wings] for a while.
