In any case... [she rests the large box against her knee and jiggles it] ... I brought you a present.

[She sets the box down on the ground near the door now, takes her keys out of her pocket and proceeds to cut open the tape holding the box together. Then she straightens, now holding a package in her hands.]
Noodles.
[She tosses the packet lightly at Maya's bed, careful not to hit her in the head by accident. Of course, her aim is perfect.]
Are you hungry?
