Newcomer Helen Magnus Found Dead
The body of a newcomer identified as Dr. Helen Magnus was found pinned to a brick wall outside of an alley way in the 4th sector late Sunday evening. The garish scene left the alley spattered in blood, as well as large spray painted message reading “This Newcomer Has Returned Home” This appears to be a tell-tale signs that the Newcomer Killer has returned to activity.
Officer Barnaby Stand of the SFPD spoke with Reporters today. “The Victim was found with guns taped to her hands, tied to her cross armed body. It appears that someone bound her and, made her fire into her chest with her own hands. The writing on the wall, however, is different then the original MO of the Newcomer Killer. We’re keeping that in mind, as should the populous. No reason to stir up rumors already. The Newcomer Killer seems to be done now.” he had no further comments.
It took coroners over an hour to work the tortured body from the wall, removing knives, rope, tape and wire from the body, the building and the structures around her. The bondage was elaborate, tight and cutting deep. It has been reported that the killing blow was a mercy shot to the head, but not before many of torturous wounds were inflected first. The gun shots in her chest seem to have been made after the doctor was already dead.
Magnus worked at Skye Medical Center, as well as volunteering at the Newcomer Community Clinic and as a Greeter. Some say her strong support for the Newcomers is the reason she was targeted in the first place. Though police seem to be downplaying the possibility of the Newcomer Killer at large again, the gruesome sights of this recent murder seem to point in that direction.
