[ Chane's looking a little curious, a little bemused. Cooking your own sweets... sounds nice. Even though she hasn't taken part in Hallowe'en before-- it'd be good to learn from an expert. Or, well, those trusted by an expert.

She's sitting a little closer to the NV, writing out a question. ]

[Chopper has his attention divided between a few things so he just barely manages to catch sight of a new face on the NV. heading over over to see who he is, he finds the text message there and of course the first thing on his mind is: why isn't she talking? :|a

but that doesn't matter because she wants to talk about chocolate, and he's always willing to talk about chocolate]

Regular chocolate! Sanji wouldn't let us eat anything nicer...

[ Her pen stills on the notepad she had prepared to write instructions and ingredients on. She hadn't realised there was a 'regular'... ]

Oi, Chopper! Who are you talking to? [ moving closer and peering down at his NV ] Are they cool?

[ She nods, noting it down on the separate notepad. With the new face suddenly on the NV page she blinks in surprise, briefly resisting the temptation to shy away from the camera. All she'd wanted to do was follow along the recipe. ]

[directing his attention to Luffy for the moment] Oh, I don't know... she's really quiet. But sometimes quiet people are really cool! Zoro's like that, and Robin!

Really? [ looking into the nv and waving ] Yo!

[Watching here. Watching. Chopper mentioned a girl.]

Luffy. Don't say anything stupid.

[ She gives very, very hesitant wave, barely a little bob of her fingers. They seem friendly enough, not too inquisitive about her lack of audible response. Then she seems to perk up at the sound of an older man's voice-- the chef? ]

I'm just listening for the recipe...

[Chopper notices that bitty finger action and waves back himself for courtesy's sake, turning up at Luffy and giving him a serious face]

You gotta be quiet Luffy, so she can know what the recipe is and make all the sweets she wants.

[Friendly wave? That's like, a love confession, man. A very 'uguu' face is returned to her, followed by stern looks at the boys.]

Chopper's right. We gotta do our best here, for this girl's sake! Think of all the tasty things she can make! ...Or even better, come here and ask me to make them!

The recipe? That's easy. [ moving his way over to the lens and speaks ] Okay, you need to take the eggs and kind of break them on the table. You take the yellow stuff and then put it in a bowl with powder, then you mix it!

Even I know that!

[ ... Somehow, she doesn't suspect that's how it goes. She aims a gently apologetic look towards Sanji before sitting back a little and writing. ]

Thank you, but I'll just watch from here.

[while all of that is happening Chopper is attempting to grab an egg from a nearby carton and try to break it open as instructed......... except............. hooves... :I]
