[ The video clicks on the reveal Light bent down close to it, blinking into the screen. He seems grimly serious. ]
Right. Now we'll find out how he does it--
[ Light moves out of view, and behind there is a bookshelf, with admittedly only a few books on it, but also a rather used looking television set and a pair of shoes on the top shelf. The sound of Light's footsteps move away, and there is the sound of him speaking out of shot - perhaps in another room.
From the left hand side, a puppy wobbles into view. He tilts his head, looking into the NV, then disappears from view, jumping down from the sofa and waddling across the floor to sit at the bottom of the bookcase, looking up at the slippers on the top shelf.
For a long moment nothing happens. Ryuuga whines, and the whine becomes louder, and then with a sharp bark, one of the slippers jumps off the shelf all on its own, falling straight down to the floor by the puppy's paws.
Within seconds Ryuuga is gone, tail wagging furiously, leaving only a lone slipper on the shelf. Light comes back a moment later, frowning as he picks up the device. ]
Nice to know that even when there's real investigating to be done I still find time to do this. Let's see, then--
