[The NV seems to be being dragged across the floor of the small temporary apartment into the kitchen area where the sounds of frying can be heard.]

Lunch will be ready momentarily, Hakuryu, just be patient.

[There's a "kyuuuu!" noise that comes in close to the NV and swish of a scaly white tail comes across the screen

My birthday has been all right.

[wonders if this kid is all by himself]

My little friend here insists that I celebrate it.

This is my dragon, Hakuryu. He's a great companion and really friendly.
