[Blonde. Grey eyes. To anyone familiar with the Malfoy family - Lucius in particular - it's clear that Draco's a relative. He's quiet for the first few moments, although his expression is somewhere between `bored` and `sullen`. He’s not, as one might expect, happy to be here. What can be seen of his surroundings show that he’s not in one of the starter apartments - it looks to be bigger than that, and furnished more luxuriously.
Had he arrived by himself, Draco would have made sure that the Port was well aware of every little grievance he had with being here, but he hadn’t. His father had arrived as well - his father, not yet imprisoned in Azkaban, apparently - and subsequently, Draco’s chosen to whine to him instead. The little things, you know. They all help. But then Moody had arrived, and that hadn’t helped matters (of both the whining and non-whining kind) at all. As such, Draco’s spent a while thinking about this - what he ought to say, how he ought to say it. He’s been brought up to know the full value of impressions. Not to mention, of course, that Lucius had made a point of browsing through his NV and making a note of who would be best avoided and informing - advising - Draco.
Unfortunately, Draco has the rather fabulous talents of putting his foot in his mouth, and being totally, completely oblivious. And, you know, being an arse, but that’s by-the-by.]
So this is Canada. [English - south-west, Wiltshire, posh - AND MILD DISTASTE. His statement is followed a brief pause, as if he's realised it’s not really all that conducive to a good impression-.] I’ve already been told the basics. [...No, it’s no good, he can’t quite keep the fact that he is utterly unhappy at being here out of his tone or his mannerisms, although there’s a dash of - lazy - arrogance to go with it.]
It’s disgraceful, really. I’ve heard that some people have been here for months. You’d have thought the people responsible would at least take the time to be embarrassed by their incompetence - or is that what the [a beat] Greeters are for? [His expression flickers briefly.] Though I suppose it’s a nice enough thought - welfare, isn’t it? Helping the disadvantaged. [He utters ‘welfare’ and ‘disadvantaged’ carefully, as if he doesn’t entirely approve of the former in most circumstances, and as if he considers the latter very much divorced from him.
He glances away from the NV briefly.]
