[The feed clicks on at first upside down, with a curious face peering down at it upside down.]
Oh, it looks like it's working!
[The view flips right side up as the girl smiles, looking hopeful. She's still in the Baseball Diamond, and there's even a small speck of dirt in her cheek from where she landed.]Hello. I'm not sure if anyone's listening

[Sora's already out the door of the apartment and making a mad dash towards the baseball field. She can probably hear the rapid beat of his footsteps in the background.]
Smiles like a dork, huh?
You know, I'm looking for a friend too.
Reply
[Sounds of shifting in the background in her end.] Okay, standing up suddenly was a bad idea...
Sora, where are you? And it's the truth, you know!
Reply
Just stay right where you are! I'm on my way-- I'll meet you there!
Reply
... you know where I am? It's this... dusty field.
[She glances around visibly, before looking back at the feed.]
Are you alone though? What about Riku?
Reply
Everybody feels pretty bad when they get here, but it'll go away a couple hours. A day at most.
And Riku's here too. He'll probably show up in no time after he spots your message on the network.
[Of course, this is when Sora rounds the corner and comes into sight. If Kairi looks up, he'll see him running across the field towards her. He's got his hand in the air, waving.]
Kairi!

[There's visible relief, and aching body or not, she seems really pleased by this news. Until he comes rounding the corner and oh jesus, that smile. She raises an arm from where she's sitting on the ground to wave back just as energetically but quickly lowers it with a wince.]
Sora!

Welcome back!

My description was perfect.
[... wait a minute. She blinks at the greeting though.]
... 'back'?

[But at the latter question, he nods.] You've been here a few times, I think... Riku's been here longer, so he knows for sure.
[But first! He looks her over, leaning every which way just to scan for any serious injuries.]
Sure you're okay?

[She tests out one leg and breathes in triumph as it successfully moves. No luck with the other one.]
I'm fine! Like I said, I feel like someone just dumped me here and left me, but I can handle it.
Reply
[But nope- Sora doesn't buy it.]
I dunno....
Here. It's not gonna help with the soreness, but it might help with any injuries you've got.
[A moment later, he's drawing his keyblade in a small flash of light. He lifts the keyblade skyward and casts curative magic on her. A pause as he waits to see if's had any effect.]
There. How's that?
Reply
[She's visibly impressed, hesitatingly trying to move her limbs. Her smile widens when she realizes she can move without much pain.]
Hey, it worked! That's amazing!
Reply
Hmm... A couple of weeks before you were gone again, I think.
But here. [He holds out a hand to her. The leg may be fine, but he's got to be sure.] If I help, think you can walk? Riku's definitely on his way, so we can wait at the dugout until he shows up.

[She takes it and pulls herself out, gingerly testing her feet and breathing out in relief.]
I think that did the trick. It's almost gone. Thanks, Sora.

Unless you wanna stay with some other wise guys who smile all funny.

I rather stick with my friends who smile all funny. If we have an apartment, that makes things more convenient!
