[When the video feed clicks on, Jinx is sitting, absolutely wide-eyed, in her favorite chair at S.S. Kahve. In the far corner of the screen, an employee can be seen cleaning up a puddle of spilled coffee. Well, less spilled, more like dropped without a single ounce of remorse. What can she say? The little metahuman is anxious, excited, and still

Five more?
[This girl is going to die. For the love of God, people are stupid.]

That's what the doctor says--do you people not know how to knock?

[Ignoring the door thing. He can do what he wants. 8|]

[Pause.]
He's a kid. But he knows what he's doing.

[Crowley doesn't often use actual names -- but he feels inclined, for some reason, with this girl.]
You are suicidally difficult and stupendously self-absorbed, but you aren't stupid.

The last time I checked, looking through people was rude.

[He appears remarkably serious.]
Has anyone bothered to tell you the truth?
Reply
People have bothered to tell me a lot of things.

[He pulls up a chair with a wave of his hand, to sit.]
Desperately stubborn to get what they want and when it all falls apart -- there I am, to steal their soul to make it all happen like magic.
[He eyes her for a moment.]
I appreciate your existence, you selfish stupid girl, which is the only reason why I'm going to bother spelling it out in a way none of your foolish idiotic friends will.
You don't have five months. You don't even have five weeks.
What are you planning on doing afterwards?

[Well, she yelled that a little loud. Her eyes are also glowing just a smidge. Usually, she would be up on her feet, growling in his face. But the thought alone of pulling herself up that quickly made her feel dizzy, which proved so many points alone.]

And, suddenly, Crowley has something of an aura about him. It isn't loud -- subtle, just barely there -- but powerful. The slightest tinge of Hell and demonic energy and sheer strength, for just the barest instant.]
Attacking me would be the last thing you and your little bundle of joy ever did, and please, don't allow it to come to that. I hate washing infant blood out of my clothes.
[His tone softens, but becomes slightly colder. Gone is the pleasantry and light-hearted remarks. Crowley is now all demon -- and, just like that, he is standing in the corner, his hands in his pockets, eyes cold and narrowed.]
Children, humans, they're all such fools. No deal of Satan or God will save you if you don't want to be saved yourself. Your ability to deny reality is astonishing, but from one damned soul to another -- wake up and smell the soy chai latte, darling. You are waltzing down the fast-track to disaster, and while I do enjoy a good ( ... )

So, she pulls herself up. One hand goes to her stomach while the other stays at her side, fingers curling and uncurling, sparks dancing at the tips.]
Let's get one thing straight. I'm clever, and I've got enough magic up my sleeve to make you guzzle piss on command by the time I'm through. If you ever manage to harm a single hair on my head? You'll be running for the rest of your suddenly shortened life from the very powerful people who happen to adore me.
[She narrows her eyes and speaks through clenched teeth, trying not to blow every electronic in the place.] So don't you ever threaten my daughter.

Jinx. I've survived monsters that would devour the Archangel Gabriel without batting an eyelash.
[Calmly, and Crowley raises his hand slightly, the aura emanating from Jinx abruptly contained to her side of the room, himself protected from harm.]
I've no interest in harming anyone or anything during my stay here, but a friendly warning is just that -- a warning. Do not take out your temper tantrum on me, of all people. I've little patience for princesses who don't get their way. Now --
[And Crowley slides his hands back into his pockets, but the barrier still remains, in order to give space.]I believe I said you weren't stupid. Don't hide behind the big bad angelic guard dogs you've collected for yourself. Speak to me ( ... )

That doesn't mean she's in the mood for talking, either. Respect or no, Crowley threatened her daughter. Something in the back of her mind screamed that she couldn't just brush that off.
With a snarl, she dismisses her powers and snatches her designer purse up off the couch.]
Go fuck yourself
[With that, she moves to leave the coffee house.]

Interesting being death and senseless destruction and Lucifer attempting to skewer the thing.
Not so different from home, then.]
Call me when reality hits.
[It's said absently -- but should Jinx turn to respond, the demon is already gone.]
