I dunno, you might not believe me. It involves ghosts and nightmares coming to life and trying to strangle you. For a month. 'Catching up on some zzz's' might look like a coma for me right now.

Some of them are fire, miss. To say nothing of those that spit fire. And breathe fire. And weep fire. And then there's icy ones, and ones that look like little babies, and ones that look like those, er, what d'you lot call 'em... fire hydrants.

If you're allowed out late enough, you'll get to see 'em as well. Perhaps with a cup of coffee. If you're allowed out, that is.

Er-- no. I mean, they're not cannibalistic in that they don't eat one another, so far as I know. And I've never hung around long enough to see whether or not they'd eat me, which is how I ended up here talking with you. Are man-eating babies one of your nightmarish creatures, then?

And I s'ppose that would depend. D'you have any legal guardians that might impose a curfew or disapprove of me?

No, they were normal island fare. The nightmare monsters mostly looked like our friends.

My only legal guardian is in another universe, most likely, and compared to The Ex Who Shall Not Be Named she would love you.
