Good afternoon.  I apologize for the interruption but I'd like to speak with a few people, specifically the ones by the names of Fratley and Edgeworth.  Anyone else who has connections with the police department or the law firm

I am currently a constable of the Siren's Port Police Department. Besides my regular police duties, I also participate in the recruitment and training of Newcomers who wish to join the force. [ It's a statement, but also an unspoken question. ]

You seem to have the advantage of me. Might I have your name...? [ He isn't-- entirely certain if the individual he's speaking with is a woman or a man; it's ambiguous enough. The name won't be much of a hint, either. ]

I see. [It's possible this guy could help her then] Would you happen to be the one I should speak to concerning a detective role in the police department then?

Oh, I apologize for not introducing myself. My name is Naoto Shirogane.

While I'm not currently involved with either of the two institutions you have mentioned, I have previously worked as a prosecuting attorney here in Siren's Port. Is there anything I may be able to help you with?

That will do. Could you please enlighten me on the laws and the basic judicial system in this place? I'd like to gather as much information on that as possible.
