I can't help but wonder if all places are like this when one is forced to stay in them for an extended period of time? The last time this happened I was half-asleep, after all, and it's not quite the same to be walking and talking and eating and everything else you humans do, I should think. Well, perhaps it is. But one of you would need to be me first so we could compare, since I have no other source of data outside myself and that makes for poor analysis.

But it's terribly dull, isn't it? Other than the Darkness and my Doctor, of course. These monsters are fascinating.

I'm curious, as well, about these 'corporations' I've been learning about. There's only so much reading and talking one can do to learn a thing when one doesn't have sensors. Is it possible at all to perhaps get a closer look? What is it called? A job? Yes, that's it. I think I should like a job.

Doctor, that's acceptable, isn't it? My getting a job? I never thought I'd need one, after all. Being here is just full of surprises.
