Polished down to the last syllable, but caring not to sound pretentious. Some of his words are deliberately stressed to factor in confusion. He's also getting good at hiding that cocky, aristocratic tone. Vocal-manipulation is a trained skill of his; most would not be able to connect this polite voice to the rougher one of 'Robin'. ]
Is it . . .normal to have no recollection of being somewhere? I would say it isn't, but I have been told otherwise.

[ There is another shuffling, and something suddenly starts to hiss and snarl and swipe and scream. Apparently, he tried to touch the kitten, and it is not fond of that. Damian speaks again, softer, and not directly to the NV.
